What makes a sister?
Telling your brother he has to drink water fast because he can't bury his head under who-knows-how-many-number of pillows and cry that long because I have work to finish so please, get up, and drink water NOW?
Maybe it's about pretending you are fine and promising him you'll answer the phone when the father calls.
Or maybe not.
Maybe it's all about waiting.
Waiting together. Which maybe makes it more pathetic. But that is waiting; and sometimes all that waiting says, I want to be here for you.
